People Hub

For residents aged 16+ who need support with employment, training, or developing new skills.

People Hub provides free advice and support for anyone 16+ living in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who wants help getting into employment, training or fully funded qualifications.

They take time to understand your goals and circumstances, then connect you with the right support. They work closely with a range of specialist partners to provide personalised guidance at no cost to you.

Support available:

A welcoming triage service to guide you to the right support
One to one Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
Signposting to funded training and qualification opportunities
Referrals to specialist partners who can provide tailored, in depth support
Connections to employers and employment opportunities

Who is eligible?

People Hub can support individuals who:

Are aged 16 or over
Live in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly
Have the right to work in the UK

Struggling to find or stay in work?

The UK Government’s new Connect to Work programme is being delivered locally by People Hub. It supports residents aged 18+ who are motivated to find employment or need help staying in work.

Gisele

Gisele’s husband passed away in 2021, leaving her in debt, without an income and with an expired Brazilian passport.
