Available to people aged 16 and over living in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, People Hub takes the time to understand your circumstances, ambitions and support needs before connecting you with the services, training and opportunities that are right for you.

How People Hub can help

One-to-one information, advice and guidance
A personalised assessment to identify the support that best meets your needs
Funded training and qualification opportunities
Referrals to specialist organisations for additional support
Connections to local employers and job opportunities

Struggling to find or stay in work?

The UK Government’s new Connect to Work programme is being delivered locally by People Hub. It supports residents aged 18+ who are motivated to find employment or need help staying in work.

Gisele's story

After Gisele's husband passed away, she faced a number of challenges, including debt, no source of income and an expired Brazilian passport. With support from People Hub, she was able to reduce her debts, secure a Biometric Residence Permit and rebuild her confidence. Kyle's story

After leaving prison, Kyle was determined to find work and support his family. However, past experiences had left him feeling that support services couldn't help him. Through patience, consistency and a personalised approach, People Hub worked alongside Kyle to build trust, confidence and motivation. Rob was experiencing homelessness and living in a tent under the Tamar Bridge. Isolated from family and support networks, he faced significant barriers to moving forward. With support from People Hub, Rob was able to access the help he needed, secure a place to live and rebuild his confidence.
