Who are we?

Seasalt is a modern lifestyle brand that makes beautifully designed products woven with stories of Cornwall. We employ around 1300 people, and our purpose is to inspire people of ​all ages to dress with creativity ​and confidence, and our commitment to inclusivity and sustainability is reflected through our culture, as well as the thoughtful design and enduring quality ​of our products. We began in 1981 in a small shop in Penzance, crafting workwear for local mariners and artists. Today, we’re a modern lifestyle brand with over 70 shops across the UK, Ireland and North America, 400+ wholesale stockists, and a growing global presence. We may have grown, but we’ve always stayed true to our roots with Cornwall’s artistic influence and maritime heritage woven into every garment.

Our offices are both based in Cornwall (Falmouth and Redruth), as are our Redruth Distribution Centres and eight Cornish stores.

We never stand still, always attracting new customers and delighting existing ones. Our passion and spirit make Seasalt relevant now and always.

Early Careers

At Seasalt we remain committed to nurturing talent from all backgrounds, supporting social mobility and inclusion in Cornwall and beyond.

We do this by providing development and employment opportunities for those from lower socio-economic backgrounds to build long term careers, recognising that as a larger employer in Cornwall, we have a responsibility to support people with less access to large employers.

We also develop Early Careers programmes and improve social mobility.

We do this through our apprenticeship scheme, and we’re passionate about internal mobility too, with our very own “Experience Seasalt” internal work experience programme, where employees can learn more about other areas of our diverse business.

We work with United Response to support learners in their journeys, as well as working on design briefs with students from Falmouth University and CHES.
