Introduction
Home to one of the world’s largest natural deep-water harbours, A&P Falmouth’s facility is one of the largest ship-repair complexes in the UK.
With three large graving docks and extensive alongside deep-water berthing providing capacity for vessels up to 100,000 tonnes, A&P Falmouth provides a complete range of marine repair services thanks to our on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops and ongoing relationship with specialist contractors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
A&P is part of the APCL Group – which brings together A&P Group, A&P Australia, Cammell Laird and Neway. Our services and global reach supports defence and international maritime communities at home and in operational theatres.
As the largest commercial ship repair and conversion specialist in the UK, we have earned an enviable reputation for delivering engineering strength across the commercial marine, major fabrication and defence sectors.
A&P Group provides extensive ship repair, refit and conversion services to the Royal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary and overseas Navies.
A&P also offers commercial ship repair services including: dry docking, voyage repairs, major refits and conversions; fabrication of parts; vessel mobilisation and demobilisation as well as refits, modifications and upgrades for ferries, ro-ros, jack-up vessels, tugs and survey vessels.
A&P Falmouth offers a broad scope of facilities and equipment, including Falmouth International Cruise Terminal, an extensive cargo handling facility, an enterprise zone and dock estate.
As Cornwall’s only deep-water port with alongside facilities, A&P Falmouth is an important gateway to the South West of England and the Atlantic.
Why consider us?

Apprentices are the life blood of our organisation, providing the invaluable skills and expertise we need at every level of our business.
All of this has been made possible by an apprenticeship programme we have designed and honed over the years to provide a broad, real-world education that not only provides jobs for young people, but also provides them with clear progression pathways.
