Skills Bootcamp: Early Years. Mornings from 2nd Sept.
This course is for individuals who have a passion for shaping little minds and are looking to start a fulfilling career in early years.
After completing the programme of up to 12 weeks, you will be guaranteed an interview with a local nursery, helping kickstart your new career in early years!
You may be eligible to apply for a Skills Bootcamp if you:
- Are 19 years old or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Live in England
- Meet residency requirements
What will you learn?
You will gain all the essential job-ready skills that nursery employers are looking for, including paediatric first aid and DBS checks.
Learning phases will include:
- Teamwork and communication
- Child development
- Safeguarding
- Health and safety
- Equality and diversity
You will also benefit from dedicated career coaching to help ensure that you’re prepared for your guaranteed interview.
How will you learn?
Skills Bootcamps are designed to be flexible and work around you and your needs.
Online study: Choose to study in the mornings, afternoons, evenings or weekends from the comfort of your own home.
Face-to-face study: Learn with like-minded people in a local training centre.
